Cat Margaux

Cat Margaux is a bold, experienced organizer and advocate running to be the next President of the Florida Young Democrats. They currently serve as Chair of the Florida Democratic Party Youth Council, Chair of the FDP Legislative Liaison Committee, and President of the Hillsborough County Young Democrats. Cat is also the Director of Operations for How We All Win, an organization founded by House Democratic Leader Fentrice Driskell focused on voter education, engagement, and empowerment. Previously, Cat managed Leader Driskell’s re-election campaign in House District 67, leading a winning effort grounded in strategy and grassroots power. They earned their BA in Psychology with a minor in Biology from the University of South Florida, where they served as Vice President of the USF St. Pete College Democrats.
From co-founding the Stand for Freedom Walkout Movement to helping shape policy and party infrastructure, Cat has consistently shown up for young people across Florida. Now, they’re running for FYD President to build a louder, stronger statewide network. They believe in a Democratic Party that actually reflects our generation, trains organizers, wins elections, and ensures everyone has a seat at the table.
Zane Menendez

Zane recently graduated from the University of Florida with a B.A. in Political Science and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration from the University of Central Florida. He has experience working for Representative Anna Eskamani as a Clerk for the Florida House of Representatives, as Executive Director of a PAC, and as a Field Organizer for the Kamala Harris Presidential Campaign. He has also served as President of the UF Political Science Honor Society, as the Statewide Chief Financial Officer for the Florida College Democrats, as the Political Director for the UF College Democrats, as a student ambassador with Free the Facts, and has volunteered on campaigns across the state.
Zane currently serves as the President of the Orange County Young Democrats and as the Chair of the Florida Democratic Youth Council's Leadership Development Committee. Outside of politics, Zane enjoys singing as a member of OrlandoSings, and is a member of other community organizations.
